How to Replace Tailshaft Centre Bearing & Coupling – BA BF Ford Falcon

In this one, I’m helping out an old mate by swapping the front coupling and centre bearing on his tailshaft. I show how we got the car up safely, pulled the shaft out, replaced the bearing, and put everything back together without losing much transmission fluid. We jacked up the back first, definitely the better way to go, then lifted the front to get the right working height. I go over the tools used, dealing with odd-sized nuts, which way the coupling bolts should face, and a few little tricks that make the job easier when you’re working solo.
