Salaried vs consulting — which one gives you more financial leverage? In this video, I break down the difference between being a salaried employee and working as an independent consultant. We look at three important levers: • Earning leverage — how you monetize your expertise • Commercial leverage — pricing, clients and engagement models • Tax leverage — how eligible professionals may use provisions such as Section 44ADA I'll also explain why consulting doesn't necessarily mean leaving employment forever. You can potentially move from a job to consulting and later return to full-time employment. This video is NOT about saying that every consultant earns more than every salaried employee. It's about understanding the different levers available under each career model. The biggest leverage is still simple: Build skills → Build demand → Build leverage. Tax examples in this video are illustrative. Section 44ADA applies only to eligible specified professions and applicable conditions. Always verify the current tax rules and consult a qualified tax professional for your individual situation.
