A tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa district has claimed the lives of eight people after a car was swept away by a sudden surge of rainwater in a stream near Nalakheda. The victims were travelling from Ujjain to visit the Baglamukhi Temple when the driver reportedly attempted to cross the swollen water channel. The car was swept away by the strong current, resulting in eight deaths. Among the deceased, seven have been identified as Odia people, reportedly belonging to a family from the Jayadev Vihar area of Bhubaneswar. The identified victims include Shiva Prasad Behera, Krishna Rajbir, Gyanendra Behera, Rita Rani Behera, Saira Sonaprabha B., Sai Swastik and Radharani Behera. Two women and three children are reportedly among the victims.
