MOTIF - Jazz-Infused Macedonian Ethno Music | 2nd Live Concert in the USA

Experience the music of Macedonia through the sound of MOTIF – Modern Ethno Group, where traditional Macedonian folk melodies meet jazz-inspired harmonies, improvisation, and touches of blues. Rooted in songs passed through generations, MOTIF’s modern arrangements bring a fresh expression to familiar stories of love, longing, and home. Recorded live on June 6, 2026, at Sts. Kiril and Metodij Macedonian Orthodox Church in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, this second concert brings together guitar, kaval, keyboards, and percussion, with special guests on trumpet and tapan. An evening of jazz-infused Macedonian ethno music, celebrating our heritage through a shared love of live performance. 🎶 Songs in This Concert 00:00 – Intro 16:03 – So Maki Sum Se Rodil 25:52 – Sarena Misla 28:53 – Sar Planina 35:51 – Love Secret 42:47 – Jovka Kumanovka / Serbes Donka 50:40 – Ne Si Go Prodavaj Koljo Ciflikot 57:31 – Leno Mori 1:12:19 – Sudbo Moja 1:20:32 – Davaj Me Mila Mamo 1:27:22 – Jovano Jovanke 1:34:04 – Outro / Credits 👥 MOTIF – Modern Ethno Group Dimitar Banjanski – Guitar Dragan Micev – Kaval Slavco Vilarov – Cajón & Percussion K.
