No-Commentary playthrough of Thief II: The Metal Age (T2Fix 1.27) Expert Difficulty We collected all the loot but otherwise did not engage in any perfectionism or extra challenges - you will see plenty of missed shots, whiffed blackjacks, alerted guards, and other exciting mistakes. When piloted skillfully, Garrett is essentially a fluid, and we prefer to make use of this fluidity rather than rigidly avoid creating a disturbance. Numerous non-human creatures were harmed in the making of this video. Are we proud? No, but we don't regret it, either. At least we didn't slaughter a bunch of Burricks this time. Please note that the in-game subtitles do include somewhat frequent transcription errors, and should be read with caution. Full disclosure: This is an edited compilation that includes quite a few quick-saves and quick-loads. The editing is meant to be relatively seamless, but not intended to be deceptive. We make no secret of the fact that many, many, many quick-loads were used in the making of this video. The gamma (brightness) is set quite high so that you, the viewer, are better able to view the game. One small wrinkle: by default the game has keyboard shortcuts for raising and lowering the gamma setting. These were not disabled, and we did bump the keys a few times during gameplay, so you may occasionally notice a slight variation in the gamma setting throughout the video. We regret the oversight.
