Letting my dog choose: Bruce, my extra sensitive big boy, took several tries to find the aroma he wanted. When he found it, he really wanted it. 😄 His pick was violet leaf, and I loved his response so much I bought him his own bottle. This is animal aromatherapy self-selection: offering a dog a choice of aromas and letting him decide whether and how to engage. ⚠️ Safety note: Drinking or ingesting oils is not safe. Bruce was licking violet leaf diluted in fractionated coconut oil, and he was free to walk away at any time. 🌿 Fun fact: Violet leaf isn’t steam distilled, so technically it isn’t an essential oil.
