MVP Angel Carries Atlanta To Victor Against Valkyries + UConn Downs Texas in Preseason Matchup

Angel Reese put on a SHOW in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals. Angel finished with 30 points and 16 rebounds as the Atlanta Dream beat the Golden State Valkyries 79-65, and this game came down to much more than her huge night. Atlanta completely flipped the energy from Game 1, forced 19 Golden State turnovers and turned those mistakes into 24 points. We break down how the Dream’s defense changed the game, why Golden State’s offense continues to leave them with almost no margin for error, and what has to change heading into Game 3. Plus, Natalie Nakase had a hilarious response when asked about the low-scoring Finals, and college basketball is officially knocking on the door. UConn took on Texas in an exhibition, and freshman Jovana Popovic might be a name you need to learn VERY quickly.
