Heavyocity NOVO - Walkthrough | DEEP DIVE (Talking) | ALL PRESETS (No Talking)

In today’s video, we’re diving deep into NOVO: Modern Strings by Heavyocity. As a composer, I’m always searching for strings that offer immediate inspiration, organic emotional depth, and massive cinematic power right out of the box. Heavyocity NOVO delivers exactly that — a cutting-edge, highly expressive string engine designed for aggressive ostinati, rich atmospheric pads, and intense trailer cues. ⚠️ Be aware that some presets are quiet and others are loud! 😅 What to expect: In this video, I’ll be taking you through the instrument itself and all the presets, exploring its massive patches, versatile engine, and raw playability — presented without talking (during the presets) so you can focus entirely on the sound. You’ll also hear my full demo track "Rising Horizon", which I created strictly using this library to showcase its full potential in a complete cinematic arrangement. 🎧 My PURE APPROACH Philosophy: Only internal effects of the instrument Only the showcased product (no layering with other sample libraries or synths) Only a Limiter on the master bus (for the Demo track: 30 Hz HP filter and subtle master compression, normalized to -14 LUFS / -1.0 dBTP) 📌 Timestamps: 00:00 - Demo Track 03:16 - Overview 07:02 - Interface 19:23 - Traditional 32:47 - String Designer 01:35:03 - Loop Designer 01:51:21 - Conclusion & Final Thoughts 🎹 About the Instrument: NOVO: Modern Strings by Heavyocity Check it out here: https://heavyocity.com/products/novo ‪@Heavyocitymedia‬ 📢 Disclosure: A huge thanks to the team at Heavyocity for creating such an incredible instrument!
