Thunder storm in South Shields 01/07/09

1st July 2009 Thunder storm in South Shields. This is possible the best storm we've had in Shields for years. There were 2 lightning bolts that hit extremely close to where I was, as I almost shit myself lol. My friend who live in the next street says his cable modem and router were completely fried due to the lightning, which doesn't suprise me one bit after hearing how loud the thunder was directly overhead.
