How to make a realistic tagelharpa from a cardboard box!

I've been playing tagelharpa for 2 years now and I got annoyed by the squeezing sound my first instrument makes. I had two tagelharpa's already. A normal sized one and a bass tagelharpa. I really liked the sound of my bass tagelharpa, but the normal sized one wasn't really sounding as how I wanted it to sound. As music instruments aren't the cheapest thing in the world to buy, I wasn't happy with the idea of buying a third one. I decided to make one myself. I had no experience with woodworking, so I decided to create a cardboard prototype. I've once seen somebody (Aldo Mett) creating a cardboard tagelharpa while scrolling on social media and it seemed to be possible. Let's give this a try! So I studied the design that I saw on social media. And I made my own, bigger version of it. When it was finished, it sounded better as I was even hoping for. So I decided to give it a layer of paint. And after the painting, the instrument didn't even sound like a real tagelharpa, but it really looks like one! An old wooden instrument with rusty cast iron fittings and jute rope attachments/decorational braids. In this video I show you all the steps that I took. And if you repeat them the same way, you could also create a tagelharpa from a cardboard box! I'm now crafting this design with wood.
