What is everyday life like for a woman living alone in Tehran, Iran? 🇮🇷 Come along with me for a day in Tehran, starting with some car maintenance and ending with a visit to the beautiful traditional Tajrish Bazaar. I take my car for its technical inspection, fix a few problems, change the engine oil and filters, and get everything ready for the road. After that, I head towards Tajrish, passing through some of Tehran’s beautiful streets and autumn scenery. At Tajrish Bazaar, I explore traditional Persian shops, discover local foods and sweets, and shop for Iranian saffron, nuts, dried fruits, and other interesting products. I also share the prices of the things I buy, so you can get a better idea of everyday shopping costs in Iran.
