DJ JAHREEZY Tempo Takeover Closing Set @ BAUHAUS | Tech house, Bass house & Baile Trap

My first House set and my first time playing on straight sticks with no laptop. This was the closing set for Tempo Takeover at Bauhaus on Thursday, August 6. I played a mix of Tech House, Bass House, and Baile Trap while stepping into a new style of mixing and programming. The first part of the set came with a few learning moments—off grids, beat sync being left on from the DJ before me, and having to adjust in real time—but that’s exactly why this set means so much to me. I’m learning to embrace being uncomfortable, try new sounds, and keep growing behind the decks.
