"Edjop" Talkback: Risa Jopson & Filmmaker Jose Cuaresma

Last September 19, the Ateneo Art Gallery held a public screening of EDJOP, the 1986 documentary about the life and struggles of student leader Edgar “Edjop” Jopson (1948–1982). A collateral program of the ongoing exhibitions by Rick Rocamora and Edgar Doctor, the film was presented in cooperation with Concerned Artists of the Philippines (CAP) and PUP Center for Heritage Studies as part of the ML@50 campaign. The screening was followed by a talkback with filmmaker Jose Cuaresma and Edjop's youngest daughter Risa Jopson, moderated by Lisa Ito and Rose Roque of CAP.
