302,600 SWAT — 300,000 riot shields, 2,000 police and 600 flamethrower troopers — hold a snowbound valley against 3,900,000 orcs and 2,000 trolls in the rain. Nearly thirteen to one. The difference this time is that the police aren't a garrison or a last stand: 300,000 riot shields is a real army, the biggest shield line ever put on this channel. The question stops being how long they survive and becomes whether there is any number of riot shields that an orc horde actually breaks on.
Cold rain over a northern valley, snow on the high ground and grey water at the edges. The line is enormous: three hundred thousand riot shields locked edge to edge across the whole approach, two thousand police behind them, and six hundred flamethrower troopers spaced along the front — the only weapon in the formation that kills faster than the horde arrives.
Then the valley fills with green. Three million nine hundred thousand orcs come down the slopes in one continuous mass, two thousand heavy trolls smashing ahead of them, and the sound arrives before the front rank does. Six hundred flamethrowers against nearly four million works out to more than six thousand orcs per flame trooper — the fire buys space, it doesn't clear it.
Every previous version of this fight was decided before it started: a thin police line against a horde is only ever a question of minutes. This one isn't thin. There are three hundred thousand shields in that valley, the deepest formation the horde has ever had to chew through, and for the first time the answer is genuinely unclear.
Thirteen to one, in the snow and rain, with the biggest riot line yet. Does the horde break on it — or does it just take longer? Call it before you watch.
