FDNY *NEW* Engine 50 Responding

New York City Fire Department NEW Engine 50 responding to a reported fire in a warehouse on Lincoln Avenue in The Bronx, New York. Engine 35, Engine 59, Engine 60, Engine 69, Engine 83, Ladder 29, Ladder 30, Tower Ladder 14, Tower Ladder 17, Battalion 14, and Battalion 16 from the FDNY also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Originally, Engine 35, Engine 50, Engine 69, Ladder 30, Tower Ladder 14, and Battalion 16 were dispatched while the normal first due companies were all operating at other calls. However, the normal first due companies (Engine 59, Engine 60, Engine 83, Ladder 29, Tower ladder 17, and Battalion 14) were able to quickly clear those calls and respond. As a result, all of the originally dispatched companies were cancelled, with the exception of Ladder 30 who advised they had already crossed the river into The Bronx and were close to the scene. They continued in as an extra truck company. Battalion 14 advised he was using one engine and two trucks for a fire that was in a Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) transfer station. He also advised that the fire was knocked down by the remote observation system and that it was being handled by DEP personnel. Engine 50 was placed into service in late May, 2023. Engine 50 is a 2023 Seagrave Attacker HD (2000GPM/500GWT). This video was taken on November 10th, 2023.
