Knott's Berry Farm with Kids: Best Rides on a Hot, Empty Day

Knott's Berry Farm with kids: our family's favorite rides, snacks and hidden secrets on a 98° day when the park was nearly empty. We started at Camp Snoopy with Sidewinder, then rode Jaguar (long, smooth and not too wild). The kids rode Silver Bullet twice in a row because there was no line, and we competed on Knott's Berry Tales. The heat was real: the bar on the Dragon ride was burning hot, so bring lots of drinks. Other highlights: a hidden Snoopy and Woodstock hunt, the cattle brand that matches my grandpa's, blueberry and strawberry treats, the Beagle Express Railroad, boysenberry slushies, and the Peanuts jamboree show. We ended where we began, by Independence Hall.
