Tokyo Rooftop Cafe at Night 🌃 Japanese City Pop Lofi to Relax / Study / Sleep

She takes the lift to the top and steps out onto a little open air cafe on the roof, while the sun is still up and the whole sky is gold. Strings of small warm bulbs are already lit overhead. She stands at the railing and looks out over the city until the sun finally goes, and then, all at once, the lights come on below — thousands of windows and the thin orange chains of the streets. She takes a table by the rail with an iced drink and a coffee, rests her chin on her hand, and stays. The night wind moves her hair. A plane crosses the dark. The moon comes up past the bulbs. Little by little the city turns itself down, until the tables are empty and only a few strands of light are still burning. One evening on a rooftop, from the last of the sun to the small hours. 🌃 141 minutes of warm city pop lofi — vintage Rhodes and clean electric guitar over lightly brushed drums and a round warm bass, with tape hiss and the hum of the city far below.
