Ramanathapura is a temple town located in Arakalgud taluk of Hassan district.This town is konown as “Dakshina Kashi” . There are five temples located within short distances from each other. The Rameshwara temple, Agastheshwar temple,Pattabhirama temple,Vyasanjaneya temple and Prasanna subramanya temple are the most famous temples in Ramanathapura.
