The Mistake of Knowing Who You Are and What You Want | Lyuboslav Dimitrov | TEDxNBU

We are often told that success begins with knowing exactly who we are and what we want. Lyuboslav Dimitrov challenges this assumption by exploring how fixed definitions can limit curiosity, growth and unexpected possibilities. Drawing on his experience with young people and mentors, he argues that uncertainty is not necessarily a weakness—it can be the space in which new directions, identities and ambitions emerge. Lyuboslav Dimitrov is a partner and Country Lead at Mentor the Young Bulgaria, where he helps build communities that connect ambitious young people with experienced mentors. Through the programme, participants work toward entrepreneurial, professional and personal goals. Alongside his work in mentorship and community-building, Lyuboslav develops independent projects in film and television. His interests lie at the intersection of personal growth, meaningful relationships and creative storytelling.
