Can You Drive From Reno to Las Vegas Entirely Off Road?

For the 30th anniversary of the legendary Vegas to Reno — the longest off-road race in America — Best In The Desert ran it in reverse as the Vegas To Reno Legends Rally. So I took my Can-Am Maverick R Max out to take on all 505 miles of it, driving solo, in 100+ degree heat, across three brutal days of roughly 170 miles each. No co-driver in the car — just me, the Maverick R, and a whole lot of Nevada desert, with my chase crew trailering me to the hotels each night. Here's how it went. This was one of the toughest and most rewarding things I've taken on — insane scenery, some seriously fun trails, and a machine that took everything the desert threw at it.
