How can leaders create better work through organisation-wide change? Work can be redesigned from the bottom up, when employees shape aspects of their own roles, or from the top down, when organisations make intentional changes to how work is designed and delivered. While both approaches are important, many of the most significant opportunities to improve work require action at an organisational level through changes to roles, systems, structures, leadership practices and ways of working. In this webinar, join editors of the book ‘Transformative Work Design: Synthesis and New Directions’, Dr Caroline Knight (The University of Queensland) and Associate Professor Florian Klonek (Deakin University) as they examine practical approaches to top-down work redesign, including how organisations can implement meaningful change and the key factors that contribute to successful outcomes.
