Watching Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson break through every single barrier that was thrown at them during the Space Race was equal parts inspiring and heartbreaking. The way these brilliant Black women at NASA had to fight just to do their jobs, let alone change history, really made me think about how I could never have survived in that era.
