In addition to that there is also a deer park which consists of sambar deer also. A beautiful butterfly garden and a medicinal garden with seventy species of medicinal plants are also the part of Abhayaranyam. We can also experience the elephant bath in the abhayaranyam. A children's park and cafeteria are also part of Abhayaranyam. Kodanad is situated at a distance of 13 km from perumbavoor.
