I Turned Old Jeans Into a Skort! Shorts in Front, Maxi Skirt in Back | DIY Upcycle

I transformed an old pair of jeans into a runway-inspired denim skort—with shorts in the front and a full-length maxi skirt in the back! ✂️👖 In this step-by-step DIY upcycling tutorial, I’ll show you how I created the curved front, added a stretchy inner panel, and reused the leftover denim to construct the geometric back insert. No sewing pattern required! JEANS USED jeans — EU 34 / UK 6 / US 2 MY FRONT CURVE MEASUREMENTS Measured down from the top of the waistband: • Middle of each front leg: 40 cm / 15¾ in • Inseam: 12 cm / 4¾ in • Outer side seam: 47 cm / 18½ in Back hem openings: 6 cm / 2⅜ in on each side These measurements worked for my jeans and desired length. Adjust them to suit your jeans, size, and preferred fit.
