Dovetail Alignment and Clamping Jig using UJK Technology Products (hand cut dovetails)

Homemade Dovetail alignment jig made from Mahogany, Ash and Oak using UJK technology products. When cutting dovetails by hand I alway find it risky when marking the pins, slightest bit of movement and then it’s pretty much impossible to get the components back in exactly the same place, if movement occurs your accuracy has gone and the chance of achieving perfect dovetails is slim. There is so much to go wrong when cutting dovetails I thought I’d try to design a jig that eliminates 1 of those factors. I thought I’d go a step further than just a dovetail alignment board as there’s still a slight chance of movement, with this jig it aligns the two components and clamps them firmly in place. While I’m making this jig I may aswell use dovetails where possible and it may aswell be pretty! Anyway I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.
