What is Gospel Unity Platform Uganda, and why does it exist? Gospel Unity Platform Uganda UG LTD (GUP-UG) exists with a Christ-centered vision: “Uniting Believers, Advancing God's Kingdom.” Jesus prayed for His followers to be one. The Bible also teaches that although believers have different gifts and functions, we belong to one Body in Christ. John 17:20–23 Ephesians 4:1–6 1 Corinthians 12:12–27 Psalm 133:1 Our vision is to see a united, Christ-centered and spiritually mature Body of Christ in Uganda and beyond, where believers, churches and Christian ministries work together in biblical love, truth and purpose to advance God's Kingdom. OUR MISSION To unite believers, churches, Christian leaders and ministries around Jesus Christ and biblical truth; promote reconciliation, discipleship and cooperation; equip believers for Kingdom service; and mobilize the Body of Christ for evangelism, prayer, compassion and community transformation. OUR OBJECTIVES INCLUDE: Promoting biblical Christian unity Encouraging love, forgiveness and reconciliation Strengthening Bible teaching and discipleship Mobilizing believers for prayer Advancing evangelism and the Great Commission Promoting peace among believers Encouraging cooperation among churches and ministries Developing Christ-centered Christian leaders Serving vulnerable people and communities Using Christian media and technology for evangelism Strengthening Christian families Developing future generations of Kingdom leaders GUP-UG does not seek to erase the legitimate identities of local churches. Our desire is to encourage Christians to recognize the greater biblical reality that genuine followers of Jesus Christ belong to one Body. DIFFERENT CONGREGATIONS. DIFFERENT GIFTS. DIFFERENT CALLINGS. ONE LORD. ONE FAITH. ONE BODY. ONE KINGDOM MISSION. Together, let us reject unnecessary division, pride, jealousy, hatred, unforgiveness and unhealthy competition. Let us pray together, serve together, evangelize together and advance God's Kingdom together. GOSPEL UNITY PLATFORM UGANDA UG LTD — GUP-UG UNITING BELIEVERS, ADVANCING GOD'S KINGDOM.
