ODIN‘S Oath - Rune Sounds feat. AiRadio197.2FM

ODIN‘S Oath - Lyrics by Rune Sounds feat. AiRadio197.2FM [Intro] When the raven wheels above the snow, And the northern fires burn red, We lift our eyes to the ancient sky, And remember the words we said. [Verse 1] From the pine-dark shore, through the iron rain, We carried our names through the storm. With frost on our beards and salt in our wounds, We stood where the brave are born. The longship groaned as the black waves climbed, The wind tried to tear us apart. But a hand found a hand in the blinding spray, And a promise held fast in the heart. [Pre-Chorus] Raise the shield, let the whole world know, No soul stands alone in the cold. By the oath we made, by the road we chose, We are iron, we are bold! [Chorus] Odin’s oath! We will hold the line! Odin’s oath! Through the dark we ride! If the mountain breaks, if the sea takes fire, We stand as one, we will not tire! Odin’s oath! Let the rafters roar! Odin’s oath! We are bound evermore! With our last breath and our hearts held high, We keep the oath beneath the northern sky! [Verse 2] At the stone-ring gate where the old kings sleep, We laid down our fear and our pride. No crown, no gold could command our hands, Only the ones at our side. There was Eira, whose keen eyes pierced the fog, And Hakon, who laughed at the gale. There was Torvald, who bore our wounded home, With a torn red banner for sail. [Instrumental: harmonized twin-guitar solo with orchestral brass] [Bridge] When the final horn calls across the plain, When the old road ends at the door, Let the skalds tell them how we came, And what we were standing for. Not for a throne, not for fame, Not for the spoils of war— We swore that none would face the night Forgotten on the shore. [Half-Time Oath] Hand to hand! Shield to shield! No retreat! No one left! Through the gale! Through the flame! We remember every name! [Build] The snow may bury the tracks we made, The years may wear the stone, But the vow that passed from heart to heart Will never stand alone! [Final Chorus] Odin’s oath! Odin’s oath! We will hold the line! Odin’s oath! Through the dark we ride! Let the far shore hear, let the high peaks ring, A vow is stronger than a king! Odin’s oath! Let the rafters roar! Odin’s oath! We are bound evermore! With our last breath and our hearts held high, We keep the oath beneath the northern sky! [Outro] Beneath the northern sky, We keep the oath. Hand to hand, through the years, We keep the oath. #airadio #vikingmetal #powermetal #nordicsound #vikingsaga #aimusic #nordicmusic #vikingmusic
