House of the Dragon 2x8, The Queen Who Ever Was | Group Reaction & Review

In this video we watch and discuss the Final episode of House of the Dragon titled "The Queen Who Ever Was". Also, due to me rushing like crazy to upload, the names in the intro are swaped, Denis and Jessica...woops. The episode felt like it belonged somewhere in the middle of the season and not at the end, from what we see online, it seems like a lot of you feel the same. We really liked this episode aside from a few scenes such as the one with Alicent at the end, It really felt like they are straight up re-writing the character but it just feels off, season 1 did her better, the Alicent we see trying to stab Rhaenyra after Aemond lost his eye is what she should be based on the books. We've seen That George RR Martin himself has voiced some dislikes regarding the show too.. But We are really interested, what do you guys think? We know full well that a lot of you are much better versed in the lore, do these changes bother you? 00:00 - Intro 00:49 - Reaction 42:10 - Discussion Follow us on instagram!   / couchpatrol_   Help support the channel and see more content!   / couchpatrol   Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
