Hot! Elevated heart rate all race due to the temperature. Playing bikes with Ben, alternating attacking. He covered a good move by GII and got good separation. I did by best to disrupt chases by the field, but a few solo riders jumped across that I didn't mark, or thought if I chased, then we would bring the field back together. Got a puncture at 3 to go and my rear tire felt too soft to want to sprint for 7th.
