The Blizzard of 78

On January 26, 1978, one of the most powerful winter storms in Ohio history slammed into the state. Roads disappeared beneath massive snowdrifts, the Ohio Turnpike shut down, thousands were stranded, and the Ohio National Guard joined an enormous rescue effort. 51 Ohioans lost their lives. The Blizzard of ’78 is my musical tribute to the people who lived through those terrifying days—and to the neighbors, farmers, first responders, National Guard members, snowmobile riders, and ordinary people who stepped up to help one another when Ohio was buried beneath the storm. For those who survived it, the Blizzard of ’78 isn't simply history. It's a story they still remember. This song is dedicated to the 51 Ohioans who lost their lives and to everyone who rescued, sheltered, fed, and cared for their neighbors during the Great Blizzard of 1978. 🎵 Artist: Outlaw Country Ken 🎵 Song: The Blizzard of ’78 If you remember the Blizzard of ’78, I'd love to hear your story in the comments.
