Welcome to Australia’s capital - Canberra!
Canberra is home to 395,790 people (as of 2016), and home to Canberra airport. Pre-COVID, the airport had international flights with airlines like Qatar airways but has seen became a regional airport with mainly Australian carriers flying around the country. The airport also has a lot of General Aviation (GA) action that mainly uses the shorter runway. Since Canberra is the capital, the airport sees a lot of VIP movement, which is why it is home base for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) 737 BBJ and Falcon 7X. Sadly I didn’t get any of those aircraft but I am very happy to have gotten many Australian carriers during my short visit. I do hope you Enjoy the video!
Canberra is very similar to Ottawa, as it is a smaller city that rests between the 2 major city centres of the country, even the spotting is similar with amazing close up shots!
