Simple 3 Phase extension lead test using the Class 1 test on the Seaward Apollo.

Tutorial video for PAT Engineers/Technicians using the Seaward Apollo 500 and Apollo 600 testers. Test is using Class 1 Earth resistance & Insulation resistance on 3 phase extension leads. This can be done on standard 4 or 5 pin (16A, 32A & 64A) or on any nonstandard leads with male and female adaptors. There are also other options for testing, this is just one method for example. This test will not show which Phase is Leaking to Earth bur will at least identify that there could be an issue and further investigation is required. Although this test was on a Seaward Apollo, other testers should be able to conduct the same test as long as you have the correct 3 Phase adaptor.
