The Flyers trailed 23-14 late in the third quarter before exploding in the fourth. Cincinnati commit Ronnie Gomiller scored three second-half rushing touchdowns, while Florida commit Raheem Floyd sealed the victory with a pick-six. East St. Louis forced two crucial Mount Carmel turnovers early in the fourth quarter and turned both into touchdowns. Gomiller finished with 91 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns while also catching a 16-yard touchdown.
