We continue on to our adventure on Iceland's ring road. In this video, we will be visiting the best sites to see when in the southern part of Iceland. If you are planning to tackle the ring road in Iceland, expect to see beautiful and out of this world landscapes. Also, expect to be behind your itinerary, because you will find yourself making many unplanned stops along the ring road. And don't be upset about this just enjoy and embrace all the sights the Iceland's ring road has to offer! We rented a camper van from Cozy Campers, and it was the best decision in tackling the ring road of Iceland. The camper van was comfortable, spacious, modern with an automatic and powerful engine, a perfect fit for the ring road. Driving along the Southern part was probably one of the most scenic drives along the Ring Road. The main sites we saw and showed in this video are Skogafoss, which is a beautiful waterfall. DC3 plane wreckage, with quite a long hike so be prepared if weather is poor do not pursue this hike. Dyrholaey, is a beautiful cliff side overlooking a black sand beach, you can also spot puffins here! And, Reynisfjara beach a beautiful black sand beach. But be very cautious for the sneaker waves! We hope that this travel guide to Iceland ring road will be helpful for your upcoming Iceland trip. We posted many Iceland travel guide videos of the ring road, so check them out!
