I Am a Woman of Courage

“I Am a Woman of Courage” was written by me, Diane E. Cisneros, through inspiration from God, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts He has given me. I wrote this song for the Courageous 2026 Women’s Conference: Breaking Generational Patterns. It reflects the journey of recognizing the generational and unhealthy patterns we may have learned growing up, finding the courage to let go of what no longer serves God’s purpose for our lives, and choosing healing, growth, and a new legacy. My prayer is that women hear pieces of their own stories in this song and that they feel encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that with God, we can break unhealthy patterns and choose a different path for ourselves and the generations that follow.
