I began working on this project two months ago, when a series of unfortunate events delayed it's production significantly. First the heavy editing load completely melted down my old laptop, then a number of frightening wildfires caused me to have to prepare for evacuation. In the end, I spent over 100+ hours writing, working & editing this video essay, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Over the course of this video you will be shown a method of story structure theory that can directly help you perform your own analysis of the media you consume.
