A peaceful afternoon on our Kenyan homestead, where life moves a little slower and the simplest things bring so much joy. 🌿🏡 Today, we’re spending a chilly afternoon at home after a little rain the previous night. I’ll be harvesting fresh vegetables from our kitchen garden, preparing them for lunch, and enjoying the simple routines that have become such a beautiful part of our countryside life. Our little garden has become a blessing to our homestead. It provides vegetables for our family, our workers and even our animals, with some left over to share with our loved ones. There is something special about growing your own food and knowing that the things you need are right there at home. As we prepare for the rains, we’ll also be working on the garden and taking care of our fruit trees as we look forward to another growing season.
