To You I Return There are moments when we look back at our lives and realise just how far our hearts have wandered. We tell ourselves, “Tomorrow I will return to Allah.” But tomorrow becomes another tomorrow, and before we realise it, the years have passed. To You I Return is an emotional nasheed about regret, repentance, fear, hope, and finding the courage to return to Allah, no matter how distant you may feel. It is the cry of a heart asking: “My Lord, do not take me while I am far from You.” It is also the beautiful realisation that even when every other door closes, the door of Allah’s mercy remains open. If your heart feels heavy, if you have made mistakes, if you have delayed your return, or if you simply feel distant from Allah, may this nasheed remind you never to lose hope in His mercy. To You I return… To You I return… O Allah, to You I return. May Allah forgive our sins, guide our hearts back to Him, strengthen us when we are weak, and allow us to meet Him with hearts that have returned.
