3 Scary Apartment Stories That Got Under My Skin

There is something about apartment buildings that I keep coming back to. Everyone is separated by one wall, one floor, one ceiling — and somehow that closeness makes everything lonelier and stranger. Tonight I have three stories set inside apartment complexes, and I want to be honest: one of them is still bothering me a little. The first story, The Scheduled Hours, is psychological in the quietest, most uncomfortable way. It is about a man who starts to notice that the lights in the hallway follow a pattern — one that does not match any timer or any official schedule. I think what makes this one land is that nothing overtly threatening happens for a long time. It is just a feeling, building slowly, and then you realize what the feeling was pointing at the whole time. The second story, Unit Below, is more physical, more immediate. A woman starts hearing sounds from the empty unit beneath her apartment — and the building manager insists it has been vacant for months. This one moves faster than the others. The third story, The Notebook in 4C, is the strange one. A maintenance worker finds a notebook left behind in an apartment that had been sealed after the previous tenant disappeared. What is written inside does not explain anything. It only adds more questions. All three stories are narrated calmly. No jump scares, no background music designed to startle you. Just the stories, told straight. If you listen at night with headphones, I would say that is probably the right way to do it — though I will leave that decision to you. This channel is built around atmospheric horror narration and scary stories told for people who want to actually sit with something unsettling rather than be shocked out of it. If that is what you are looking for, subscribing would genuinely mean a lot — it is the thing that makes it possible to keep making these. #HorrorStories #ScaryStories #HorrorNarration #AtmosphericHorror #ScaryStoryTime ── CHAPTERS ── 0:00 Intro 0:27 Story 1: The Scheduled Hours 6:02 Story 2: Unit Below 10:56 Story 3: The Notebook in 4C
