I Was NOT Ready for How Fast the BMW S 1000 XR Is! I’ve ridden plenty of adventure bikes, but the BMW S 1000 XR is something completely different. In this video, I take the BMW S 1000 XR out for a proper test ride to find out what this sport-touring machine is really like on the road. With its 1000cc inline-four engine, superbike-inspired performance and upright riding position, the XR promises an incredible combination of speed, comfort and practicality. But just how fast is it? And does the S 1000 XR actually deliver the best of both worlds? I’ll be putting the bike through its paces, looking at the engine performance, handling, riding position, comfort and overall experience to see what makes the BMW S 1000 XR so special.
