In this tutorial, you will learn how to develop a MATLAB code from scratch to conduct a kinematic analysis of a four-bar linkage mechanism using an analytical approach (vector loop method). We began by utilizing the vector loop approach to derive closed-form solutions for the governing position, velocity, and acceleration. Following this, we implemented these solutions into a MATLAB code. For further details regarding the problem, please refer to the course textbook: "Design of Machinery, 6th Edition" by Robert L. Norton. Note: These tutorials have been prepared as a project for the course ME306 - Machine Theory, instructed by Dr. Farzin Mozafari at Abdullah Gül University (AGU) during the Spring semester of 2023-2024.
