Man, it's amazing how far I came when playing this game. I was confused on what to do on Night 1 to 3, especially when I was uncertain on how they worked. I was wondering if Jolly and Tweetie would break the window if I don't use the flashlight on them, but apparently they just appear there and at the doorway when about to enter. Night 5 I also died numerous times due to my inefficient strategy of keeping track on all of them in the cameras. In the Custom Night, I developed a much more efficient, power saving strategy that caused me to win this max mode on my first try, along with all the other challenges!(except for Honeycomb or beehive, there was a time I didn't hear Maxie and was too late when I found her in the vents) It's amazing how much I improved compared to when I started this game. The perks I used were the default perks as I believe there is no reward for using the hardest ones. I'm also missing some achievements, namely the mute call, powerout survival, and secret character ones. I think completing the max mode like this is good enough for completion. On a side note, the name "Colony" is such a funny name for a max mode. I get it that it's because it's as in bee colony, but still haha.
On the game itself, man was this a much needed remake of my childhood memories! Although I still like the original, this was a much better, much more fun improvement compared to the original game! The models and environment look better along with the graphics, and I love the mechanic design of the characters too! Looking back at the original Jolly series, I can't help but notice that there is barely any mechanic variety in the games from 1 to 3 chapter 2. Most of the main animatronics all share the same mechanic, which make the game boring to play. This remake however, solves that problem. Every character behaves unique in their own way, which is especially very fun. I also love how they made George the foxy of this game. The designs are also amazing and look so great compared to before. Only thing I wish is that George's pelvis looked better in the extras and that Fantasy Jolly was as fat and plump as he was in the original game lol. I could never get over how he was like that when I was young.
For those who need help, here's the strategy I used to beat this game:
Most of the time, have your camera in party room 1 to look at george only. Check for Jolly or Tweetie if they're entering the door by frequently checking the window and doorway for them. Occasionally you may have to check the vent panel in the rare occurrence you don't hear Tweetie or Maxie entering the vent, so do that once in a while. During Maxie's attack, check on George(and the generator if Jolly's downstairs) between overrides, and close the door when George is at his last phase before running. You should also do so if he is and Jolly is at the generator or tweetie is in the vents too. It's also good to check on Jolly at the generator or the doorway/window between overrides in Maxie's attack too. Once you hear the elevator going down, you should start checking on Jolly in the bottom floor by switching between floors from George's room and keeping track of him. Keep track on Jolly in the basement until you override him when he's touching the generator and he goes back up, then you don't have to worry about the basement until he takes the elevator again. Once you hear Metalionette's creepy ambience, focus on finding her 3 times in the first floor, as the others seem to freeze when she's there. It should be easy once you memorize all her poses in all the rooms she can appear in. Keep doing that and you should have enough spare time to charge your power and keep a fine amount enough at the end.
