In this video, my friends and I backpack for six-days on the iconic West Coast Trail in Pacific Rim National Park on Vancouver Island, BC.
The West Coast Trail is a very challenging 75k trail that travels along the island's rugged southwestern coastline through an old-growth rain forest. It consists of numerous mud-bogs, suspension bridges, boardwalks, and cable cars, that hikers have to carefully navigate between Pachena Bay and the Gordon River. Along the way, it offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, and the potential for an abundance of wildlife sightings featuring whales, sea lions, black bears, cougars, river otters, eagles, and wolves.
I hope you enjoy this video journal of our amazing adventure.
