Come with me for a day of Sobek Rafting in Bali, white water rafting along the Ayung River in Ubud.
In this silent vlog, I’m taking you through the full Sobek rafting experience, from arriving at the meeting point and getting our equipment to the 500 steps down to the river, around two hours of rafting, and lunch afterwards.
I live in Indonesia and spend a lot of time on my own and I genuinely enjoy it. But living independently doesn’t mean doing everything alone.
Over the years, I’ve built some wonderful friendships here with both Indonesians and people from around the world, and today I’m joining a lovely group of people for an adventure in Ubud.
I’ll show you what the Sobek Ayung River rafting experience is actually like, including the journey to the starting point, the walk down to the river, the rafting itself, our break along the way, the facilities and showers afterwards, and the included buffet lunch.
After rafting, come back to everyday life in Ubud with me as I ride home through the rice fields and end the day with a swim. 🌿
