Edinburgh Has Another Castle?! 🏰 | Exploring Craigmillar Castle | Scotland 4K Walking Tour

Did you know Edinburgh has more than one castle? 🏰🤍 Today we’re exploring Craigmillar Castle, one of Edinburgh’s most beautiful medieval castles, and honestly, such an underrated place to visit! Located around 3 miles from Edinburgh city centre, Craigmillar Castle dates back to the 14th century and has a fascinating connection to Mary Queen of Scots, who stayed here in 1566. One interesting thing you’ll see inside the castle is the beautiful old yew trees, which are actually poisonous! 🌳 And something really lovely happened during my visit! 🥹💍 While I was standing at the top of the castle, I noticed a couple getting engaged below. I managed to capture their proposal on camera, but unfortunately couldn’t share the footage with them.
