Zaalima Chachi is an emotional Pashto moral story about family relationships, greed, injustice, hidden secrets, and the importance of respecting the rights of others. In a village in Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a hardworking young man named Farid lives with his father, Rahmat Shah, and his widowed aunt, Zarghona. In his childhood, Farid loses his mother and begins to see his aunt as a mother figure. Zarghona initially treats him with love, but as time passes, her heart becomes filled with greed for the family house and land. When Rahmat Shah becomes seriously ill, he gives Farid a sealed envelope containing important documents and tells him to keep it safe until the truth is needed. Shortly afterward, Rahmat Shah passes away, leaving Farid heartbroken. After his father's death, Zarghona begins claiming that the entire property belongs to her. She hides important information, refuses to explain the ownership documents, and tries to keep Farid away from his rightful inheritance. Although Farid sends money home while working in the city, his aunt becomes increasingly controlling and threatens to throw him out of the family house. Things become even more difficult when Farid marries Shagufta, a kind, patient, and respectful woman. Instead of welcoming her with love, Zarghona forces her to perform almost all the household chores, criticizes her constantly, and treats her unfairly. Farid knows that his wife is suffering, but he tries to avoid a serious family conflict. When Zarghona secretly attempts to sell the land to a local businessman named Malik Naeem, Farid realizes that he must uncover the truth about his father's property. With advice from Haji Karim, an elderly and respected friend of his father, Farid finally opens the envelope that Rahmat Shah left behind. The documents raise serious questions about Zarghona's claims, but the truth is more complicated than Farid initially expected. As the family investigates the property records, hidden financial problems and a secret payment to Zarghona come to light. Even when Farid loses his job, he refuses to abandon his dignity or his rightful claims. His wife, Shagufta, supports him with her savings, and together they continue working toward a fair solution. Meanwhile, Zarghona begins to face the consequences of her greed, dishonesty, and unfair treatment of others. A health scare finally forces Zarghona to reflect on her actions. She admits that she mistreated Farid, lied about the property documents, and made an unfair attempt to sell the land. She also apologizes to Shagufta for the pain she caused her. With the help of village elders and the proper legal process, the family eventually reaches a fair resolution regarding the property. Farid receives the rights established by the official documents, while Zarghona's legitimate rights and living arrangements are also addressed.
