Nostalgia Spectrum: Maziacs

Maziacs is a classic 1983 arcade-adventure maze game created by Don Priestley and published by DK'Tronics for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Your aim is to explore a massive, randomly generated maze to find a hidden box of gold and return it to the starting point.The Maziacs are dangerous, crab-like creatures that guard the treasure and hunt the player. You can only carry one item at a time making the game more tactical do you carry gold OR a sword, without a sword Maziacs are much more dangerous. Collect swords to fight the creatures (one use per fight) and find food to keep your energy bar from depleting as you walk. Along the way yiu eill see poor imprisoned characters inside the maze will briefly reveal the correct route to the treasure. Its great fun and this is definitely worth giving a go 😉
