Linville Gorge Wilderness - Pinch-In to Rock Jock Loop - Pisgah NF | 3-day Backpacking Report

This is the full length trip report with natural sounds and on-trail commentary from a 3-day backpacking adventure that I took to the Linville Gorge Wilderness in May 2020. I covered the Pinch-In - Linville Gorge - Conley Cove - Rock Jock Loop in North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest. I had planned on doing some fishing on this trip but recent heavy rains had swollen the Linville River to foil those plans. I still had a great time exploring the Gorge while trying (and failing) to stay dry. Even with the relatively low mileage covered on this trip I got to see a ton of beautiful sights!
