Can a ₱4.058M electric MPV redefine executive transport in the Philippines? The all-new 2026 XPENG X9 brings 615 km of range, 800V ultra-fast charging, and zero-gravity lounge seating. XPENG makes its official Philippine market debut with the flagship X9 electric MPV, landing at PhP 4,058,000 for the range-topping version with the Second Row Premium Seat Package. In this first drive feature, we evaluate how this 5.3-meter luxury haulers performs on local roads, backed by a single-motor rear-wheel-drive powertrain, a massive 110 kWh battery, and an 800-volt silicon carbide architecture capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent in 12 minutes. We step inside the rear passenger compartment to test the two zero-gravity lounge chairs, featuring 18-way power adjustments, ventilation, and 16-point massage functionality. We also check out the 21.4-inch fold-down rear monitor, 27-speaker sound system, onboard hot-and-cold refrigerator, and standard rear-wheel steering that shrinks its turning radius down to 5.4 meters. Finally, we demonstrate cargo practicalities as the motorized third-row seats fold completely flat beneath the floor to expand boot volume to 2,554 liters.
