Triumph Tiger 1050 – A Ride to Mallory Park

Yesterday I gave my 2009 Triumph Tiger 1050 a good clean and made a small adjustment to the rear shock to add a little more damping. Of course, once you’ve changed something on the bike there’s only one sensible thing to do, take it out for a ride and see how it feels. With the Tiger looking considerably cleaner than usual, I thought I’d combine the test ride with an excuse to take a few photographs. So I headed over to Mallory Park, which seemed like a suitably appropriate backdrop for the bike. In this video I take you along for the ride, see whether the suspension adjustment has made a difference, and then have a proper walk around the Tiger once I get there. There’s also something slightly different for me in this one, my first attempt at actually talking to the camera. I’m much more comfortable behind it than in front of it, so this is another little step in getting my motorvlogging setup properly underway. The Tiger might date from 2009, but after a clean and with a few carefully chosen updates, I still think it’s a cracking-looking bike — and, more importantly, a great bike to ride.
